Install or open web
- Desktop: download from the Download page and run the Windows installer.
- Web: use Web app on the same page—no install, full core features.
First project
- Create a new project and name it.
- Use the outline to add folders/files (chapters, sections).
- Add
@systemnotes for style, characters, or terminology—the Agent reads them. - Open the AI panel on the right to chat, plan, and apply edits (with diff review).
Learn the UI in depth in Interface, then continue with AI assistant.
Outline & @system (short)
- Outline — your manuscript is a tree: drag nodes, fold sections, stay focused.
@system/— put style guides, character sheets, and glossaries here so the Agent stays consistent.
Next steps
- AI assistant — panel, phases, tools
- AI features — Agent capabilities and safety
