Notion-style tools are great for knowledge bases and lightweight documents. All Writer is built around the writing process:

Traditional writing tools are strong at drafting and formatting. All Writer focuses on AI-era long-form collaboration:

• It is not trying to be a general wiki or task manager.
• It does not make advanced publisher-grade layout its current main path.
• It does not silently upload local desktop projects to the cloud.
